(Issue) VAT field is not showing at Registration

Why is this happening? #

If you are not seeing the VAT field during registration, this is because the VAT field is connected to the country field. The VAT field is shown only to users in the countries selected under VAT field settings:

VAT only shows for the countries selected in B2BKing -> Registration Fields -> VAT

The VAT field is hidden until the customer chooses a country. When testing, you must first choose a country, in order to see the VAT field.

If you do not have a country field, you must add or enable a country + state (or country) field.

How to fix it? #

Follow these steps:

(1) Make sure you have a 'country + state' or country field in your registration form.

(2) Make sure you have selected the countries you want to show VAT for in B2BKing -> Registration Fields -> VAT

(3) In the registration form, first choose the country, and then check whether the VAT field shows.

Other issues #

Something to note is that B2BKing currently only supports a single VAT field in the registration form. Having multiple VAT-type fields may have unpredictable results.
